Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead department operations in the absence of the department manager and the assistant department manager.
• Comply with all company policies, procedures and government regulations.
• Utilize store systems supporting management functions (Planning, Scheduling, CAO, RF Unit).
• Treat all co-workers with fairness, dignity and respect.
• Meet or exceed Management Planning guidelines.
• Develop product knowledge in meat department including cooking procedures.
• Assist in training other associates when assigned.
• Maintain neat, well-groomed appearance and comply with appearance policy.
• Maintain solid communication within the department and organization.
• Support safety standards; report needed repairs; keep work area safe and clean.
• Observe and maintain sanitation and food safety standards.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
