Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking a Meat Team member to support counter service, stocking, and sanitation in the meat department. You will ensure a fresh display, maintain back stock, and assist with sampling while providing courteous service to customers and team members.

You will follow health and safety regulations, learn product knowledge, and contribute to a clean, efficient department. The role requires flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays with a focus on quality and teamwork.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must follow safety and sanitation procedures.

Responsibilities

• Ensure fresh, appealing displays and stock cases.
• Maintain back stock in good order.
• Assist sampling program; keep areas clean.
• Clean cases, signs, coolers, floors, and drains.
• Provide courteous customer service and answer phones.
• Follow procedures for pricing, signs, and rotation.
• Support Weights and Measures and sanitation rules.
• Report safety hazards immediately.
• Perform duties as assigned by store leadership.
