ShopRite of Bayonne Meat Department seeks a Meat Cutter Clerk to deliver a great customer experience and maintain a visually appealing department. You will cut meat to company standards and assist customers in selecting items.

Responsibilities include sanitation, safety, training, and teamwork; you may lift 35–90 lbs and work in refrigerated areas. This role supports store operations and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak English clearly.
• Basic math proficiency for pricing and counts.
• Strong knowledge of safe food handling and sanitation.
• Ability to lift 35 lbs routinely, up to 80-90 lbs occasionally.
• Comfort working in refrigerated environments and varied temps.
• Friendly, helpful customer interaction and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, safe meat department and sanitation standards.
• Cut and trim meat per company specifications.
• Assist customers with selection and provide courteous service.
• Rotate, stock, and display products while controlling shrink.
