The Fresh Market is seeking a Meat Cutter to join our team in Southern Pines, NC. You will cut, trim, and prepare meat and seafood according to our standards, assist with inventory, pricing integrity, and merchandising to create an exceptional guest experience.

This fast-paced role requires efficiency and a passion for excellence. You will work across the department to maintain product quality, safety, and per-unit standards while delivering outstanding service to guests and team members.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in cutting meat.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• All Meat Cutters must be certified within The Fresh Market’s internal training platform within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of products and weekly ad items; assist guests in finding products and meal solutions.
• Handle, slice, and trim a variety of department meat and seafood products; manage quality per standards.
• Monitor case temperatures and storage areas; ensure freshness and quality.
• Enforce safety and food safety policies; manage receiving, stocking, and unloading deliveries.
