Job summary

The Fresh Market in Greensboro, NC is seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team. You will cut, trim, and prepare meat and seafood to our standards, while supporting inventory, pricing integrity, merchandising and daily operations.

This fast-paced role requires 2+ years of meat-cutting experience, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to food safety. Weekend availability is required; training will be provided within 90 days.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of meat-cutting experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Certification within The Fresh Market’s internal training platform within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of products/weekly ad items and assist guests in finding products and complete meal solutions across departments.
• Handle, slice, expertly cut, and trim a variety of department meat and seafood products while maintaining quality per TFM standards.
• Monitor the temperature of cases, spillovers, and storage areas.
• Enforce safety protocols and department practices for receiving, stocking, unloading deliveries to ensure freshness and quality.
