Job summary

ShopRite Hatfield Meat Department is seeking an associate to deliver excellent customer service while ensuring a clean, safe and attractive department. You will cut, trim and prepare meat items per company standards and assist customers with selections.

Responsibilities include maintaining sanitation, rotating stock, operating equipment, and following safety and QA guidelines; overtime may be required in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Knowledge of safe food handling and safe work habits.
• Able to lift 35 lbs regularly and 80-90 lbs occasionally.
• Able to work in cold/refrigerated environments.
• Able to operate meat department equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, neat, organized and safe work environment.
• Cut and trim meat according to company specifications.
• Rotate products and restock meat cases.
• Check products, prices, and location in-store knowledge.
• Follow QA and sanitation standards and safety procedures.
