Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club in Delray Beach, FL is seeking a Meat Cutter in the Meat Department. You will cut, weigh, wrap, label, and merchandise fresh meats to company standards while maintaining cleanliness and stock levels.

Responsibilities include assisting in deli and seafood, rotating inventory, and upholding safety and sanitation guidelines throughout the department. Must have apprenticeship or training program completion and prior meat cutting experience.

Qualifications

• Completion of a training program/apprenticeship required.
• Previous meat cutting experience required.
• Knowledge of automatic/hand wrapping machines preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cuts, grinds, and packages fresh meats to company standards.
• Weighs, wraps, and labels cuts of meat, poultry, and seafood.
• Maintains meat department shelves, signs, and stock levels.
• Ensures sanitation and safety in the meat department.
• Rotates stock and disposes of damaged products per guidelines.
• Assists in deli and seafood areas as needed.
