Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club in Cape Coral, FL is seeking a Meat Cutter to receive, rotate, cut, wrap and merchandize fresh and processed meats, including grinds. You will assist in seafood, prepared foods, cheeses and deli, and in the rotisserie chicken area while maintaining sanitation and safety standards.

You must have prior meat cutting experience and complete a training/apprenticeship. Benefits include weekly pay, health options, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Completion of a training program/apprenticeship required.
• Previous meat cutting experience required.
• Knowledge of automatic/hand wrapping machines preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cuts, grinds, and processes fresh meats to company standards.
• Weighs, packages, wraps, and labels meat, poultry, and seafood.
• Maintains meat, seafood, cheese cases and rotates products by expiration dates.
• Cleans and sanitizes equipment, fixtures and display areas in the meat department.
• Receives and stores meat deliveries and ensures quality standards.
