Job summary

BJ's Wholesale Club in Florida is seeking a Meat Cutter to join the Meat Department. You will cut, wrap, and merchandise meats, assist members with recommendations, and maintain quality and sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• Completion of a training program or apprenticeship is required.
• Previous meat cutting experience is required.
• Knowledge of automatic/hand wrapping machines is preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Engages and assists Members by making recommendations about meat, poultry and seafood.
• Cuts, grinds, and processes fresh meats to company standards and weighs, wraps, and labels products.
• Ensures meat, seafood, prepared foods, and cheeses are stocked and rotates products by expiration date.
• Maintains sanitation and safety standards in the meat department.
• Performs other duties as assigned and supports club policies.
