Job summary

The Fresh Market is hiring a Meat Cutter in Boca Raton to manage, cut, and trim meat and seafood to The Fresh Market standards. You will support inventory, pricing integrity, merchandising, and other tasks requiring attention to detail to deliver an impeccable guest experience.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years meat cutting experience, is at least 18, and will complete internal training within 90 days. This full-time role requires flexibility, weekend availability, and a commitment to food safety

Qualifications

• 2 years or more of experience in cutting meat.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• All Meat Cutters must be certified within The Fresh Market’s internal training platform within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of products and weekly ad items across the store and assist guests in finding products and meal solutions.
• Handle, slice, and trim a variety of meat and seafood products while maintaining quality and adherence to standards.
• Monitor case temperatures and ensure freshness; enforce receiving, stocking, and unloading protocols.
• Ensure compliance with safety and food safety policies and procedures.
