Job summary

The Fresh Market is seeking a Meat Cutter to manage, cut, and trim meat and seafood to our standards and guest requests. You will also assist with inventory, pricing, merchandising, and daily operations to ensure quality and service.

Applicants should have 2+ years of meat cutting experience, be at least 18, and obtain TFMA certification within 90 days of hire. This role requires early shifts and a commitment to guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in cutting meat.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Certification within TFMA within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Handle production for Meat-Seafood and other departments as needed.
• Maintain knowledge of products and weekly ad items; assist guests across departments to find products and complete meal solutions.
• Slice, cut and trim prime and premium meat and seafood products, while managing quality levels per TFM standards.
• Monitor temperature of cases, spillovers, and storage areas.
• Enforce safety and food safety practices; ensure proper receiving, stocking, and unloading of deliveries.
