Job summary

The Fresh Market is seeking a Meat Cutter to expertly cut and trim meat and seafood, ensuring freshness and presentation for our guests. You will assist with department inventory, pricing integrity, and merchandising while delivering an impeccable guest experience.

A minimum of 2 years of meat-cutting experience and certification within 90 days of hire are required. Weekend availability is preferred to support store operations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in cutting meat.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• All Meat Cutters must be certified within The Fresh Market’s internal training platform within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of products and assist guests in finding items across departments.
• Handle, cut, and trim prime and premium meat and seafood products to specifications.
• Monitor the temperature of cases, spillovers, and storage areas.
• Ensure department safety, food safety, and compliance with company policies.
