Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking a meat/seafood cutter to portion cut beef, pork, lamb, and seafood to customer specifications while maintaining sanitation and GMP standards. You will work with knives and band saw/slicer, ensuring weights are correct and safety protocols are followed.

The role requires 6 months to 1 year of relevant cutting experience and a High School Diploma or GED. A safe, inclusive environment and opportunities for growth are emphasized within the team.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 1 year meat/seafood cutter experience or related area.

Responsibilities

• Review work schedule, safety check equipment, obtain supplies, and prepare for operations; secure equipment and complete paperwork at shift end.
• Check cutting list, obtain stock from coolers, open cases, and place trash in proper receptacles.
• Cut various size portions of raw meat/seafood by hand with knives using proper cutting techniques; clean and sanitize knives and tools; maintain USDA compliance.
