Job summary

Fortune Fish & Gourmet is seeking a Cutter I for the meat production room, at a knife-portion cutting station. Reporting to the Meat Production Supervisor, you will independently perform cutting tasks and related administrative duties.

The role requires 1+ year of foodservice production experience, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and willingness to work a 3:30am–12pm schedule Monday–Friday with flexibility for business needs. Knowledge of safety rules is essential.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of foodservice production experience.
• Good communication skills in English (written and verbal).
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and operating instructions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work flexible/extended hours when needed.
• Previous kitchen or foodservice production experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete Cutter and Cutter I checklists per Fortune Meat Room Cutter Handbook.
• Follow daily workload safely, accurately, on-time, and on-budget.
• Assist with training other cutters.
• Offer feedback to Meat Production Supervisor for improvements.
• Support Fortune’s mission/values daily.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
