Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club in North Dartmouth, MA is hiring a Meat Cutter to stock, cut and merchandize fresh and processed meats while upholding sanitation and safety standards.

You will assist members, perform special cuts, and ensure product quality and inventory. Prior meat-cutting experience and a required apprenticeship or training program are emphasized, with a focus on safe handling and efficient service.

Qualifications

• Completion of a training program/apprenticeship required.
• Previous meat cutting experience required.
• Knowledge of automatic/hand wrapping machines preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Engage with members by answering questions about meat, poultry and seafood.
• Cut, grind and process fresh meats to company standards.
• Weigh, package, wrap and label cuts of meat, poultry and seafood.
• Maintain meat department sanitation and safety according to policy.
• Rotate products and ensure accurate stock levels and displays.
