Sprouts Farmers Market, Inc. is seeking a Meat Cutter to provide excellent customer service while preparing high-quality meat products in a fast-paced environment.

You will perform cuts for beef, chicken, pork and veal, stock and merchandise in fresh and frozen cases, and assist with daily operations in the meat department. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, 2+ years of grocery retail meat experience, and strong communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years professional meat-cutting experience preferred in grocery retail.

Responsibilities

• Follow department procedures for receiving, pricing, stocking, and rotating products.
• Maintain safe and clean work environment in compliance with safety and sanitation requirements.
• Greet customers and take orders; cut, tray, and package meat and seafood as required.
• Move and lift heavy products; operate cutting tools with safety practices.
