Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Meat Cutter to deliver high quality customer service while handling meat with care in a temperature controlled environment.

You will cut, tray and package beef, chicken, pork and veal, stock and merchandise both fresh and frozen sections, and ensure proper rotation and safety procedures. Weekend/evening/holiday shifts may be required to meet store needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years professional experience.
• Ability to provide and receive constructive feedback.
• Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude.
• Ability to work varied hours/days, including weekends, evenings and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Follows department procedures for receiving, pricing, stocking and rotation of products.
• Maintains a safe and clean working environment per safety regulations.
• Greets customers and takes orders.
• Cuts, trays, and packages meat and seafood products.
• Uses cutting tools safely and with gloves; adheres to safety protocols.
• Assists in pre-inventory preparation and back stock management.
