Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club in Florida hires for the meat department to cut, wrap and merchandise fresh and processed meats, including special orders for Members. You will help maintain sanitation and safety standards while assisting in rotisserie and deli areas as needed.

Qualifications

• Completion of a meat cutting training or apprenticeship is preferred.
• At least 18 years of age and able to lift moderate weights.
• Experience with meat, poultry and seafood product handling is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Cuts, grinds, wraps, and labels fresh and processed meats to company standards.
• Rotates and merchandises meat, seafood, and deli products to ensure freshness.
• Maintains sanitation and safety in the meat department and assists in related areas.
• Assists with special meat orders for Members and supports inventory control.
