Food City is seeking an on-site Meat Department team member in Whitesburg, KY to cut and merchandise fresh meat and assist with ordering, receiving and displaying products. The role includes rotating stock, maintaining clean display cases, and upholding HACCP standards.

Applicants should be 18+, with or without meat-cutting experience, and able to meet physical and mental demands while following instructions and working collaboratively with staff. On-site shifts are required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Meat cutting experience is a plus, but not required.
• Ability to meet standard Physical, Mental, and Visual demands.
• Ability to follow verbal and/or written instructions and perform routine tasks.

Responsibilities

• Cut and merchandise fresh meat.
• Assist in ordering, receiving and displaying products.
• Rotate and stock product; maintain cooler organization.
• Maintain neat, clean display cases and proper code dates.
• Ensure HACCP program requirements are followed.
