Food City in Church Hill, TN seeks a Meat Department team member to cut and merchandise fresh meat, assist with ordering, receiving, and displaying products, and grind and slice meats. You will rotate stock and keep displays neat, while maintaining sanitation and proper dating on products.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Meat cutting experience a plus, but not required
• Ability to meet standard Physical, Mental, and Visual demands
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and/or written instructions, perform routine and repetitive tasks and have constant contact/interaction with various levels of individuals on a daily basis
• Ability to attend on-site work during scheduled shifts to adhere to company time and attendance policies

Responsibilities

• Cut and merchandise all fresh meat
• Assist in ordering, receiving and displaying products
• Grind meat
• Slice meat
• Assist in organizing cooler arrangement and stocking cooler
• Rotate product
• Maintain neat and clean display cases
• Keep good code dates on products in display cases
• Keep work station clean and orderly
• Department sanitized and disinfected twice daily
• Provide efficient and courteous service to customers
• Assist in enforcing HACCP program
