Job summary

Raley's in Mesa, AZ is seeking a Meat Cutter to provide a great customer shopping experience by preparing high quality fresh meat, poultry, pork and fish. You will cut, wrap, label, weigh and portion products while keeping cases stocked, clean and inviting.

Responsibilities include fast, accurate service, handling pricing and signage, operating meat department tools safely, and assisting with ready-to-go deli meats and cheeses. Candidates must be at least 18 and able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Provide friendly, helpful service to customers and coworkers.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic for pricing and measurements.
• Read UPC codes, labels and signage accurately.
• Be able to lift 30–50 lbs and handle heavy pallet loads when needed.

Responsibilities

• Process, cut, wrap and label meat, poultry, pork and fish to maintain quality and freshness.
• Keep meat counter clean, stocked and organized for easy customer access.
• Assist with ready-to-go meat products and deli items, including slicing and weighing.
• Operate meat department tools safely and follow sanitation and safety standards.
