Qualifications

• Experience in cutting, platters, and merchandising of meat products.
• Ability to check product quality to meet WFM standards.
• Maintains sampling program and prevents spoilage.
• Mentor and support Meat Cutter Trainee(s).
• Follow health, sanitation, and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Cuts, platters, and merchandises products (beef, pork, lamb, veal, poultry).
• Prepares specialty meat merchandise (sausage, oven-ready, cured meats).
• Checks product against WFM quality standards.
• Maintains sampling program; monitors spoilage.
• Mentors Meat Cutter Trainee(s).
• Provides excellent customer service and uses suggestive selling techniques.
