Job summary

The role includes training support for Meat Cutter Trainees and maintaining product quality and freshness. The position requires lifting up to 50 lbs, flexibility for nights/weekends/holidays, and previous meat department experience.

Qualifications

• 14+ months retail experience.
• Completed WFM Butcher Apprentice Program or equivalent training.
• UK Exceptions may apply.

Responsibilities

• Cuts, platters, and merchandises products (beef, pork, lamb, veal, poultry).
• Prepares specialty meat merchandise (e.g., sausage, oven ready products, cured meats).
• Maintains sampling program and monitors spoilage.
• Provides excellent customer service and assists customers promptly.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties with accurate signs and pricing.
