Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1 year of experience safely using manual pallet jacks, hand tools and power equipment (including knives, wrappers, scales, slicers, cubing machine, power saw).
• Successful completion of Leevers Meat Cutter Training Program within three months.
• Food Safety Certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Cuts, packages, wraps, weighs, prices, and labels meat products using knives and power equipment in accordance with company and USDA standards.
• Prepares, merchandises, and maintains attractive meat displays to maximize sales.
• Ensures proper product rotation, dating, and storage in display cases and coolers.
• Receives, inspects, and stores meat deliveries to maintain cold chain and product quality.
• Maintains daily sanitation, food safety, and quality standards per company policy.
• Assists with ordering, inventory processes, markdowns, and scale operations as needed.
• Performs other related duties to support overall store operations and protect company assets.
• This is a non-management position with no hiring/terminating authority.
