Job summary

Leevers Supermarkets, Inc. is seeking a Meat Cutter for the South Federal Blvd location in Denver. The role focuses on trimming and preparing standard cuts, and delivering excellent customer service while following the department merchandising plan.

The candidate will work under the Meat Manager, adhere to USDA standards, and maintain proper sanitation and safety in a temperature-controlled environment. High school diploma and safety training are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older (from the job requirements).
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with meat cutting and using related equipment preferred.
• Safety certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Cut, package, wrap, weigh, price, and label meat products according to USDA standards.
• Prepare, merchandise, and maintain attractive meat displays to maximize sales.
• Maintain cold chain, rotate products, and manage storage in display cases and coolers.
• Assist with ordering, inventory processes, and markdowns as needed.
