Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficiency in basic math including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
• Must be able to read, write and speak in English; Spanish or other languages is desired.

Responsibilities

• Works under the direction of the Meat Manager.
• Cuts, packages, wraps, weighs, prices, and labels meat products per company and USDA standards.
• Prepares, merchandises, and maintains attractive meat displays to maximize sales.
• Ensures proper product rotation, dating, and storage in display cases and coolers.
• Receives, inspects, and stores meat deliveries to maintain cold chain and product quality.
• Maintains daily sanitation, food safety, and quality standards per company policy.
• Assists with ordering, inventory, markdowns, and scale operations as needed.
• Performs other related duties to support store operations.
