Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club in Massachusetts is hiring a Meat Cutter Apprentice to join the fresh meat and seafood team. You’ll assist with cutting, wrapping, labeling, and restocking, delivering high-quality products to Members.

You’ll receive a 6-month apprenticeship to prepare for the Meat Cutter role, with weekly pay, benefits, and opportunities to grow within the company. Applicants must be 18+, and prior meat department experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience working with fresh and processed meats preferred.
• Knowledge of wrapping machines (automatic/hand) preferred.
• Prev. meat/deli dept experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Members by answering questions about meat, poultry and seafood.
• Cut, grind, wrap, and label meat cuts and prepare special orders.
• Restock cases and maintain cleanliness and safety in the meat department.
