Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club in Nashua, NH seeks a Meat Cutter to handle meat, poultry and seafood orders, perform cuts, and ensure fresh product presentation. You will weigh, wrap, label and rotate items to meet our high standards.

The role requires previous meat cutting experience, a training/apprenticeship, and the ability to work with wrapping machinery. 18+ years old, strong teamwork, and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Completion of a training program or apprenticeship is required.
• Previous meat cutting experience is required.
• Knowledge of automatic or hand wrapping machines is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Engages with Members by making recommendations and answering questions about meat, poultry, and seafood.
• Cuts, grinds, and processes fresh meats to company standards.
• Maintains inventory and ensures the meat cases are stocked and organized.
• Cleans and sanitizes equipment and areas in the meat department.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of this job.
