Shaw’s and Star Market is seeking a Meat Cutter Apprentice to learn the craft alongside experienced meat cutters in a fast-paced grocery environment. You’ll cut, trim, and prep a variety of meat products and help set up displays.

No prior experience required; we value a strong work ethic, eagerness to learn, and commitment to food safety. This is a hands-on role with mentorship and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of sanitation and safe handling of raw meat.

Responsibilities

• Cut, trim and prepare a variety of meat products.
• Assist with setting up displays and merchandising of meat products.
• Maintain cleanliness and follow food safety standards in the department.
• Provide excellent customer service and answer product questions.
