Shaw’s and Star Market in Londonderry, NH is seeking a Meat Cutter Apprentice to learn cutting, trimming, and preparing a variety of meats. You’ll work beside experienced cutters, assist with displays, and help maintain cleanliness and food safety in a fast-paced environment.

No prior experience is required; if you are reliable, eager to learn, and enjoy helping customers, this hands-on role offers mentorship, weekly pay, benefits, and opportunities to grow within our store team.

Qualifications

• On-the-job training and mentorship to develop meat cutting skills.
• Reliable, hardworking, and committed to learning and contributing to the team.
• Basic knowledge of sanitation and safe handling practices for raw meat.
• Friendly and helpful attitude with the ability to assist customers and answer product-related questions.
• Comfortable lifting up to 40 lbs., standing for extended periods, and working in refrigerated environments.
• Ability to follow instructions precisely and maintain clean, organized workspaces.
• Willingness to partner with fellow associates and contribute to a positive store culture.
• Familiarity with or willingness to learn how to use meat department tools and equipment.
