Shaw’s and Star Market in Marlborough, MA is seeking a Meat Cutter Apprentice to learn cutting, trimming, and preparing meats alongside seasoned professionals in a fast-paced environment. No prior experience is required; you will receive hands-on training and mentorship.

You'll help with displays, maintain cleanliness and safety, assist customers with product questions, and grow your skills under supportive leadership within our meat department team.

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn through on-the-job training and mentorship.
• Reliable work ethic and commitment to learning and teamwork.
• Basic knowledge of sanitation and safe handling of raw meat.
• Friendly, helpful customer service mindset.
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs and work in refrigerated environments.
• Follow instructions precisely and keep workspaces clean.
• Willing to partner with teammates to support store operations.
• Familiarity with meat department tools or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities
