Job summary

Meijer is seeking a hands-on Meat Cutter to assist daily cutting of fresh beef, pork, and grind. You will follow the production schedule to ensure timely preparation of advertised cuts and maintain quality standards.

The role requires familiarity with meat weights, safety/sanitation procedures, and experience with inventory control and packaging. Training and development opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with weights and measure processes specific to meat processing.
• Ability to understand and follow specific safety and sanitation procedures.
• Experience in product presentation and packaging.
• Experience using Computer Assisted Ordering applications.
• Experience with inventory control procedures.
