Job summary

Meijer is seeking a meat cutting associate to support the daily prep of fresh beef, pork, and grind. You will follow the production schedule to ensure the timely availability of advertised cuts, while maintaining quality and safety standards.

The role involves handling weights and measurements, adhering to sanitation procedures, and collaborating with store teams to present products effectively. Training and development opportunities are available within our rewards program.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with weights and measure processes specific to meat processing.
• Ability to understand and follow specific safety and sanitation procedures.
• Experience in product presentation and packaging.
• Experience using Computer Assisted Ordering (CAO) applications.
• Experience with inventory control procedures.

The individual selected for this position will be responsible for assisting in the daily cutting of fresh beef, pork, and grind. The individual will also follow the production schedule to meet requirements for advertised fresh meat cuts.
