Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking an team member to assist in daily meat cutting operations in a retail environment. You will help with cutting fresh beef, pork, and grind and ensure adherence to the production schedule for advertised cuts.

Qualifications include familiarity with weights and measures in meat processing, strict adherence to safety and sanitation procedures, and experience with inventory control and CAO applications.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with weights and measure processes specific to meat processing.
• Ability to understand and follow specific safety and sanitation procedures.
• Experience in product presentation and packaging.
• Experience using Computer Assisted Ordering applications.
• Experience with inventory control procedures.

The individual selected for this position will be responsible for assisting in the daily cutting of fresh beef, pork, and grind. The individual will also follow the production schedule to meet requirements for advertised fresh meat cuts.
