Job summary

Meijer in Ohio is seeking a Meat Department team member to assist in daily cutting of fresh beef and pork and to follow the production schedule for advertised cuts.

You will write fresh meat orders, organize and check in deliveries, and maintain positive relationships with customers, team members and leadership while upholding safety, sanitation and inventory controls. This full-time role offers weekly pay, scheduling flexibility, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with weights and measure processes specific to meat processing.
• Ability to understand and follow specific safety and sanitation procedures.
• Experience in product presentation and packaging.
• Experience using Computer Assisted Ordering applications.
• Current handjack/hilo license.
• Experience with inventory control procedures.
