Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a meat department team member to assist in daily cutting of fresh beef, pork, and grind. You will follow the production schedule to meet advertised meat cuts and ensure quality packaging and presentation.

Ideal candidates bring familiarity with meat weights, safety standards, and inventory control, plus experience with ordering systems and efficient work in a retail meat department.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with weights and measure processes specific to meat processing.
• Ability to understand and follow specific safety and sanitation procedures.
• Experience in product presentation and packaging.
• Experience using Computer Assisted Ordering applications.
• Experience with inventory control procedures.

Responsibilities
