Position Overview

Meat Cutter and Wrapper at Sam's Club

Join our meat team and you won’t just cut meat, you’ll make important decisions about the quality, packaging, and display of our meat items for our members to eat and feed to their families. Your attention to detail and steady hand will help sell a quality product to our members. Work in our meat department and you’ll be on the front‑lines of customer service—your smile can make the difference between a good shopping experience and a great one.

Base Pay Range

$18.00/hr - $25.00/hr

What You'll Do

• Maintain a positive attitude by smiling, greeting and thanking members
• Provide exceptional customer service to members across the club as needed and answer any questions they may have
• Maintain a clean, neat, and member‑ready area

• Demonstrate knowledge of business operations, product safety, sanitation, inventory, and equipment maintenance; prepare meat products per standards
• Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and engage associates
• Ensure operational excellence, maintain work area, uphold quality and date control, secure fragile merchandise, eliminate waste, assist members with purchasing, and package, label, store merchandise properly
• Model high‑quality service as an ambassador for the department, execute basics at highest level, exhibit energy, commitment, passion
• Comply with company policies, procedures, and ethics; use Open Door Policy and apply in business processes
• Complete work assignments prioritizing policies, data, resources; collaborate with managers, coworkers, customers; identify priorities; communicate progress; recommend improvements; adapt to change, difficulty, feedback
