About The Position

As the Meat Cutter, you will manage, cut, and trim meat and seafood according to standards and guest requests. You will also assist with inventory, pricing, merchandising, and operational processes requiring attention to detail. This role is fast-paced and demands efficiency, effectiveness, and a passion for excellence to create an exceptional experience for guests and team members.

What You'll Do

• Maintain knowledge of products and weekly ad items, assist guests across departments, and help with meal solutions
• Handle, slice, cut, and trim meat and seafood products, managing quality levels per standards
• Monitor case temperatures and storage areas
• Ensure proper receiving, stocking, and unloading of deliveries for freshness and quality
• Adhere to safety and food safety protocols as per policies and law

Availability

This role requires flexibility to work weekends, days, evenings, and holidays.

Qualifications

Certifications

All Meat Cutters must be certified within 90 days of hire via The Fresh Market’s training platform.

Minimum Requirements

• At least 2 years of meat cutting experience
• Must be at least 18 years old
