Position Summary

As a Senior Meat Cutter, you will drive sales in your area to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations.

What you'll do

• Be a Team Member: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, educate other associates on tools and resources, communicate effectively, and develop interpersonal skills for excellent customer service. Be flexible to the needs of the business, track goods, maintain stock levels, and control shrinkage.
• Be an Expert: Maintain in-depth knowledge of various meat products, equipment, and backroom operations. Process meat according to specifications, ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards, and operate and sanitize equipment properly.
• Be a Techie: Use digital tools to drive sales, enhance the shopping experience, and boost associate engagement. Utilize handheld technology for making immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality, and encourage others to adopt new tools.
• Be an Owner: Drive business results through operational excellence, profitability planning, maintaining quality standards, reducing waste, securing fragile merchandise, assisting members, and proper packaging and storage.
• Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the department and club by valuing the member experience, modeling high-quality service, and assisting in training associates to perform their duties effectively.
• Comply with company policies, procedures, and ethics, applying action plans and fostering an open-door communication policy.
• Complete work assignments by prioritizing tasks, collaborating with team members, communicating progress, and seeking continuous improvement.

The hourly wage range for this position is $19.00 to $26.00, with additional premiums possible based on specific circumstances.

Minimum Qualifications

6 months of experience in a fresh production department, ability to complete required training and assessments, and being at least 18 years old.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in meat processing area is preferred but not mandatory.
