Job summary

El Super in Las Vegas is hiring a Meat Clerk for the Craig Rd. store. The role involves assisting customers, stocking and rotating meat displays, and coordinating with the Meat Cutter to fulfill special orders. Physical effort includes lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long periods.

The position requires basic PC/Outlook skills and a Retail Management Certificate is a plus; training will be provided to ensure cold-chain, food safety, and customer service standards are met.

Qualifications

• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, and shelf tags.
• Effectively present information one-on-one and in small groups to customers and coworkers.
• Apply common sense understanding to follow written or oral instructions.
• Regularly lift and move up to 25 pounds, up to 45 pounds, and up to 60 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, courteous customer service in the Meat department.
• Clean shelves, fill and rotate Meat Wrap displays.
• Work with customers on special orders and coordinate with the Meat Cutter.
