Job summary

El Super is seeking a Meat Clerk for the Las Vegas - East Tropicana Ave location. Under direct supervision, you will assist customers, maintain meat displays, and coordinate with the Meat Cutter to prepare items.

The job requires physical endurance, lifting up to 50 lbs, and standing for long periods in a fast-paced grocery setting. Applicants should have basic PC skills and a basic food-handling certification, with a commitment to excellent customer service and community involvement.

Qualifications

• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, shelf tags, and short memos.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, courteous customer service and help customers in the Meat department.
• Clean shelves and display cases; rotate and replenish Meat Wrap displays.
• Take special orders with customers and coordinate with the Meat Cutter for item preparation.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., stand and bend for extended periods in a fast-paced grocery environment.
