Job summary

El Super is seeking a Meat Clerk at our Las Vegas Sahara location to provide friendly, efficient service and keep meat displays stocked and appealing. You’ll work with the Meat Cutter to prepare items and fulfill special orders in a fast-paced grocery environment.

The role requires ability to lift up to 60 pounds, read labels and pricing codes, and deliver accurate, courteous assistance to customers. Food Handler Card is required for all positions related to preparation, handling and serving

Qualifications

What You’ll Bring

Responsibilities

Under direct supervision, the Meat Clerk provides friendly, courteous and helpful customer service. Assists customers, cleans shelves, and displays cases. Cleans, fills, and rotates the Meat Wrap displays. Works with customers to take special orders and with the Meat Cutter to determine which items need to be cut. Must be able to lift 50 lbs., bend, stand and stoop for prolonged periods. The working environment is typical for a fast‑paced grocery store; essential functions include lifting, standing, walking and kneeling as well as visual and auditory requirements.

Additional Requirements

Food Handler Card or its equivalent certification is required for all positions related to preparation, handling and serving food.
