Job summary

El Super in Reno, NV is hiring a Meat Clerk. Under direct supervision, you will assist customers, keep the meat department tidy, and work with the Meat Cutter to prepare items for sale. The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs and the store environment is fast-paced.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, shelf tags and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, courteous and helpful customer service to shoppers.
• Assist in cleaning shelves and displaying cases for the Meat department.
• Collaborate with Meat Cutter to determine items to cut and take special orders.
