Job Summary

Job Title: Meat Clerk - 18+

Reports To: Meat Manager

This role involves maintaining stock levels in the Meat Department, replenishing products, and providing exceptional service to guests both at the service counter and on the sales floor.

Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist guests in finding items on or off the sales floor
• Receive, prepare, and fulfill guest orders and special requests
• Provide excellent guest service, answer department calls professionally
• Support teammates and contribute positively to the Meat Department culture
• Address guest concerns and resolve issues using the boomerang principle
• Ensure quality control by inspecting, rotating, maintaining temperatures, and replenishing meat products
• Maintain proper inventory levels (containers, wraps, tags, etc.)
• Follow food safety protocols and keep logs
• Meet quality standards, including quantity expectations at 10 am and 5 pm
• Maintain regular attendance and communicate absences appropriately
• Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

WORK SCHEDULE

This is a part-time or full-time position with varying shifts, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
