Job summary

Salm Partners, LLC is seeking a Backup Blender Operator at our Denmark, WI facility. The role performs meat formulation, blending preparation, and sanitation for processing, complying with SQF, GMP, and USDA requirements.

Hours are 6am–6pm on a 2-2-3 schedule. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and some experience in a USDA-regulated environment. We offer strong benefits and growth in a values-driven team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; USDA environment experience preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities with attention to detail.
• Proficient computer skills including Excel and ERP systems like MAS500.

Responsibilities

• Verify production menu and specifications before start-up to determine blending needs.
• Assemble and set up formulation and blending rooms for production.
• Identify spices and ingredients and deliver to Seasoning Room for use.
• Log raw meat vat information and ingredients; monitor blend consistency during mixing.
• Apply batch labels for lot traceability; complete required paperwork.
• Sanitize and reassemble equipment per Changeover Matrix; perform sanitation duties.
• Operate forklift and pallet jack; assist training of new operators.
• Follow GMP, safety rules and lockout/tagout procedures; provide backup support as needed.
