Job summary

SpartanNash is seeking a part-time Meat Associate at the Fenton location to prepare and stock meat products, follow planograms, and assist in merchandising. You will help ensure guest satisfaction by accurate labeling, safe handling, and timely coordination with the Meat Manager.

The role requires basic math, reading and comprehension skills, and the ability to stand for long periods. Previous retail experience is preferred, with a GED or high school diploma optional.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (GED) preferred.
• One year of retail or related experience preferred.
• Basic mathematical skills required.
• Detail oriented with good reading and comprehension abilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and produce meat products.
• Package and label meat products per plan.
• Merchandise meat products per merchandising expectations.
• Stock backroom and rotate dating cases/buckets.
• Notify Meat Manager when supplies need ordering.
• Follow PPE, safety, and food safety guidelines.
• Work with other departments to support store growth.
