Job summary
MSNST is seeking a technically skilled, customer-focused Sales Applications Engineer to support customers with force measurement, load cell, and industrial weighing applications. This role blends technical sales, applications engineering, customer support, and occasional travel to customer sites.
Responsibilities include consulting with customers to identify requirements, recommending components, preparing quotations, and following up on opportunities.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of technical sales, applications engineering, instrumentation, manufacturing, or industrial experience (10+ years of experience preferred).
- 3+ years of experience with load cells, force measurement, industrial weighing systems, or related technologies.
- Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
- Ability to explain technical solutions to both technical and non-technical customers.
- Knowledge of electronics used in weighing applications.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field preferred.
Responsibilities
- Consult with customers to identify weighing and force measurement requirements; recommend components and prepare quotations.
- Troubleshoot application issues and provide technical support; coordinate with Engineering, Production, Purchasing, and Shipping.
- Build long-term customer relationships through service and technical expertise.
