Job summary

Productivity Quality, Inc. seeks an Applications Engineer to support customers in metrology, product demonstrations, and performance solutions.

You will build programs that meet customer objectives, provide hands-on technical support, and deliver training to maximize product value. The role partners with sales, engineering, and marketing to deliver technical solutions and expertise to customers, with a focus on manufacturing environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent work experience.
• 3–5 years of Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Engineering, or similar environment preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with comfort presenting to small groups.
• Proficient with MS Office.
• Creative, analytical, and self‑motivated, able to work independently and in a team.
• Ability to travel up to 70%, domestic.
• Ability to meet qualifications to work with ITAR designated data.

Responsibilities

• Develop programs and applications that meet customer specifications and objectives.
• Provide technical support to customers, including troubleshooting and issue resolution.
• Confirm programs and applications work properly after maintenance and testing.
• Conduct product demonstrations that showcase technical features and processes.
• Prepare operating instructions and lead training programs tailored to customer needs.
• Communicate product benefits for complex applications to customers and prospects.
• Partner with the sales team to recommend the right products for customer applications.
• Collaborate with engineering and marketing on product development projects.
• Maintain positive, ongoing customer relationships.
