Job summary

Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence is seeking an Applications Engineer to provide technical sales and applications support across metrology solutions. This role supports prospective and existing customers through product demonstrations, application development, technical recommendations, contract programming, training, and troubleshooting.

The Applications Engineer partners closely with sales, engineering, marketing, and customers to translate application requirements into practical measurement

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• 0–2 years in manufacturing engineering, quality engineering, metrology, or similar.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with clear communication.
• Customer-focused and able to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to work independently or in a team.
• Ability to travel up to 75%.

Responsibilities

• Conduct hardware and software product demonstrations for customers.
• Explain product capabilities clearly for customer applications.
• Collaborate with regional sales to assess customer needs and propose solutions.
• Prepare technical specifications to support quotations and proposals.
• Develop programs to meet customer specifications and measurement objectives.
• Provide technical support and resolve application, software, and hardware issues.
