Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a M/E Engineer 2 to support routine mechanical, electrical and field construction activities in our Atlanta area projects. You will collect data, help develop estimates, and support systems/bid analyses to align with JE Dunn's strategy and safety culture.

Ideal candidates have a BS in engineering and 2+ years in construction/engineering, with experience in estimating and bid processes, and strong reading of plans and specs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, architectural engineering or related field.
• 2+ years construction and/or engineering experience.
• Experience with M/E estimating and bid analysis.
• Ability to read plans and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Complete routine mechanical, electrical and field construction activities.
• Develop budgetary M/E estimates using the estimating system.
• Assist in bid analysis and subcontractor selection.
• Participate in commissioning and design coordination processes.
